How to update important information in your business profile
Your business profile makes it easy for customers to see important information about your business. Customers can see your business name, description, address, business hours, and category. This information can help establish trust with your potential customers. You can also share your business email and website.
Editing your WhatsApp Business Profile
- Go to your Phone numbers tab in your Meta WhatsApp Manager.
- Click the account that you want to change the display name for.
- Under the Settings column, click
Profile.
The following profile details are completely optional, but we recommend adding them to increase trust and engagement of your WhatsApp senders:
- Profile photo
- Business address
- Business website
- Additional business website
- Business email address
- Vertical
- Business description
- Profile about (Required)
Logo requirements
Logos are not reviewed by WhatsApp and can be set by submitting a link to an image as part of your WhatsApp Sender Profile. Please be aware of the following requirements when submitting a logo:
- Minimum size restriction: 640x640 px
- Maximum size restriction: 5 MB
- Square aspect ratio
- PNG or JPG (JPG recommended)
- No clear (alpha) background
You'll notice, your Business Display Name cannot be updated using the input field. To update your Display Name, contact our support team. Please follow the WhatsApp Display Name Guidelines. WhatsApp only allows this to be done once every 30 days.
